Delighting in God, our neighbours and each other.

We believe God knew what he was doing when he put Bethel Church on the hill overlooking Waterdown and north Burlington. We have a calling, and we celebrate the purpose that is clear to us. It is our joyful conviction that God is calling Bethel Church:

— to introduce people to the wonderful God who loves them, cares about them, and wants to bless them;

— to help people grow in their understanding of the God revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to help all in the community grasp and live by the Lord’s message in the Bible;

— to invite people to find friendship and support in the Bethel Church family;

— to empower people to use all their gifts and interests to the glory of God and for the betterment of our society.

Bethel Church’s vision is holistic, wide-ranging, unashamedly Christian, and hopeful.

Bethel is part of the Christian Reformed Church, often shortened to the CRC — roughly 1,000 congregations across North America, 250 of them in Canada.

Our denomination wants to understand the Bible accurately, share its message with all who will hear, and live according to it with joy and gratitude. That is a fair description of what we are attempting on this hill, week by week.
