Ministries
Faith is nurtured in small rooms.
Bethel is multi-generational by conviction, not by accident. These are the places where that actually happens week to week.

Small Groups
We believe faith is nurtured in small groups, so we promote them for everyone. Groups are hosted in homes and set their own rhythm — weekly, biweekly, every three weeks, monthly. Some are singles’ or couples’ groups, some include the children, and some are genuinely multi-generational.
Find a group →OASIS — Older Adults Sharing in Service
Lunches, outings, speakers and practical service. OASIS is where a good deal of Bethel’s institutional memory lives, and it is not remotely a quiet group.
Join an outing →Women of Bethel
Bible study through the year, service projects, and gatherings that run from the deeply serious to the frankly hilarious.
Get the schedule →Men of Bethel
Monthly breakfasts, a short devotional, and work days when the property needs hands. Bring someone who wouldn’t come to a service yet.
Get the schedule →Worship Team
Whenever we gather to worship, the worship team aims for an engaging, uplifting time of praise, fellowship and instruction. If you have a heart for congregational worship and are gifted musically, we would love to hear from you.
Offer your gift →The Library
A well-kept collection of theology, biography, fiction and children’s books, open to the congregation and run entirely by volunteers.
Browse the catalogue →Bethel Community Garden
Beds for neighbours, a harvest for whoever needs it.
Plots are offered each spring to anyone in Waterdown and north Burlington — church member or not. Gardeners keep what they grow; the surplus goes to families in the community and to the food bank.
